"One for the boys. The title of this track comes from a long lost image. The text on a derelict mardi gras float lazing in the afternoon sun. Empty lot: New Orleans, Louisiana. The ballad of the unintegrated anima. The first act of psychic self-mutilation.

"Every man has got a haunted heart."

"Mary and I have known each other for a long time from the noise scene in New Orleans and have shared bills in the city as well as the International Noise Conference in Miami. Our collaboration came about when I was trying to find a way to play the studio based songs of "Non-Stop Healing Frequency" in a live setting. Haunted Hearts was the first new song written for these performances."

Mary Hanson Scott builds ambient, meditative layers of saxophone--the perfect soundtrack for wandering the halls of an art museum at night.

Ruth Mascelli is perhaps best known for the electronic textures and rhythmic backbone they contribute to no wave/glam/industrial group Special Interest. As a solo artist, they have released a number of tapes as Psychic Hotline, before making their debut under their own name with the album A Night At The Baths on Disciples in 2021, followed by sophomore collection Non-Stop Healing Frequency in 2023.
